I wanted to have my own model viewer which makes my models look better.
I started programming with DirectX9 and Visual C++.
I started from the basics. I wrote code for half Lambert lighting.
Then I worked on shadow area, shadow mapping and dual hemisphere lighting.
Here's some Phong shading. I needed specular light.
Here's the combined effect.I still want soft shadow and depth of field. I'm working on that next.
